[ Being around humans is-- awkward? Odd? Sure, Mercedes is royalty too, but she's also one of the lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you looked at it) ones to have been shielded from politics in general. In fact, as far as she could remember, she barely knew much about things outside general affairs...and war. War was always a big issue.

But this trip to Sindria had been something entirely unavoidable and her mother unavailable as a political figure -- it'd be decided that young Princess Mercedes would take her place instead. After all, this was supposed to be a courtesy visit-- supposed.

But politics and awkwardness aside, this is-- amazing. There's ingredients and foods she's never even seen before! And before she can stop herself, she's blurted out a surprised oh!.
